Discover the joy of creating vibrant stained glass suncatchers that bring dazzling color and light into your home! This hands-on class is perfect for beginners and experienced glass artists alike. Under the guidance of our skilled instructor, you’ll learn essential stained glass techniques and leave with a beautiful suncatcher ready to display. We'll have some cute Summer themed patterns to choose from. For this project, you will be using Hobby Lead & Copper Foil. ✂️Glass cutting experience is a must! ✂️ ***For those of you who previously took our new glass cutting class and kept your cut pieces this would be the class to take to finish the assembly of your project!*** ***Class Fee***: $125 + Supplies (Glass is not included in the class fee but students receive 30% of their purchases) What is included in the class fee: Wire, Solder, Lead/Hobby Came Class Schedule: Session 1: Pattern selection, glass cutting, grinding, and Foiling. Choose from a variety of suncatcher designs and learn to cut and shape your glass with confidence. Session 2: Foiling, assembly, and soldering. Wrap each glass piece with copper foil or fit them into hobby came channels, then solder everything together to create clean, strong lines. Finish your suncatcher with decorative wire accents, if desired, and add a loop for easy hanging. We will show you how to repurpose some of that scrap you've been collecting, to make some sweet and adorable Suncatchers. ✅ What You’ll Learn: ✔ Choosing and preparing patterns ✔ Cutting and grinding glass pieces ✔ Using copper foil or hobby came for assembly ✔ Soldering with smooth, even lines ✔ Adding wire embellishments and hanging loops By the end of the class, you’ll take home a stunning stained glass suncatcher that captures the sunlight beautifully, adding warmth and color to any window.
